Print Reach Central v4.8.0 Release Notes Follow
Improvement: Users can now adjust their email settings so any emails they send from Print Reach Central will use their email address. You can toggle this setting to change your email settings and configure individual preferences. When OFF, your email settings will default to your global settings. We offer third-party email connections through Gmail and Office 365.
Improvement: There are roles to support customization around what users can change with their personalized email settings. The Change Email Provider setting allows someone to switch from one email provider to another. The Disconnect and Connect Accounts allow cases where you don't want users to change any settings and have someone administrating all email settings on their behalf. These will typically be left on unless you require additional security.
Improvement: The Reports>Funding Summary grid has been updated to include a new filtering layout. This layout reduces the height of the column header and allows for additional rows to be displayed:
This change also applies to the Funding Detail grid. Additionally, when exporting filtered data from the grids in the Reports section, the export file will only include the filtered data. Previously, the export function ignored the grid filter and exported all the data.
Improvement: On the Monthly Statement report, invalid months can no longer be selected.
Improvement: A payment receipt generated from the Accounting>Payment History>Payment Detail now includes additional information. For example, the receipt for a check payment will include the Check/Ref number, the Transaction Type, and the amount applied to the invoice.
Improvement: When paying a Midnight invoice, if the customer assoctiated with the invoice does not have a stored payment method the Select Payment Method field was empty:
This is now improved, and the Credit Card (New) payment is selected by default:
Improvement: When exporting data in the .csv file format, date fields will now be exported as mm/dd/yyyy. Previously the dates were exported in a long format that included times. This change applies to the following lists:
-
Merchant>Accouting>Payment history export (Payment Date)
-
Merchant>Accounting>All Invoices (Invoice Date, Due Date)
-
Consumer>Accouting>Payment history export (Payment Date)
-
Consumer>Invoices>Unpaid Invoices (Date Shipped, Payment Due Date)
-
Consumer>Invoices>All Invoices (Invoice Date, Payment Due Date)
-
Consumer>Online Jobs>Orders (Due Date)
Improvement: If the connection between Print Reach Central and the MIS is down, when a consumer user is logged into Print Reach Central the Add Payment Method in the wallet is disabled. This option would only be active when Print Reach Central has a valid connection to the MIS.
Improvement: The layout of the Midnight Invoice is improved and is now properly formatted when viewed on a mobile device.
Improvement: When generating the daily transaction report Print Reach Central connects to the MIS solution to retrieve additional payment information and verify that the payment was received by the MIS. If this connection initially fails, Print Reach Central will retry multiple times. If these attempts also fail the report will now reflect that at the time the report was generated connection to the MIS application was not successful and the individual payments should be verified.
Fix: Previously, the Payment History grid for a Midnight Consumer user did not filter properly, this is now fixed. For example, filtering the grid by "Check" payments will now only list the records paid by this method.
Fix: If a consumer user accessed a Job Link details page, and then logged in, the details of the job were reset. This is now fixed and the details will remain the same when the user logs in.
Fix: When viewing the Payment History, previously, the receipt for a non-processed payment entered in Printer's Plan did not show the payment amount applied to an invoice. This is now fixed:
