Printer's Plan Implementation Series - Session 1: System Overview - Part 1: Connecting to the Program Follow
Overview
Printer's Plan can be accessed in two ways:
- Web Client (Browser-Based Access) – Fastest and easiest setup
- RemoteApp (Desktop-Like Experience) – Requires additional setup but behaves more like a locally installed program
This guide walks through both options step by step.
Option 1: Connecting via the Web Client (Recommended for First-Time Access)
Step 1: Open the Web Client
- Open your preferred web browser.
Enter the following address in the address bar:
https://printersplan.printreach.com
- The URL will automatically redirect to the web client sign-in page.
Step 2: Sign In
- Use your provided credentials.
Your username format will be:
plan\yourusername
✅ Be sure to use the backslash (\) — not the forward slash (/).
- Enter your password and sign in.
Step 3: Understanding the Web Client Screen
After signing in, you’ll see available resources. Most users will see:
- Explorer Folder
- Printer's Plan (PP icon)
In the upper-right corner, you’ll also see your user account menu, which allows you to:
- Sign out of the web client
- Change your password

Step 4: Launching Printer's Plan
- Click the PP (Printer's Plan) icon.
- You may see a prompt allowing you to save credentials—this is optional.
- Once launched, you can:
- Maximize the window inside the browser
- Enter full-screen mode
- Exit or close Printer's Plan at any time
Signing Out
You can:
- Close Printer's Plan only (leaves the Web Client open), or
- Fully sign out using your user account menu in the upper-right corner
Option 2: Connecting via RemoteApp (Desktop Experience)
RemoteApp behaves more like a traditional Windows program and allows you to launch Printer's Plan directly from your taskbar.
Step 1: Open RemoteApp and Desktop Connections
- Use the Windows search bar.
Type:
RemoteApp
- Select RemoteApp and Desktop Connections.
Step 2: Add the Printer's Plan Connection
In the setup screen, enter the following URL exactly:
https://printersplan.printreach.com/rdweb/feed/webfeed.aspx
- Click Next.
Step 3: Enter Credentials
Username format:
plan\yourusername
- Enter your password.
- Select Remember Me (recommended).
- Continue through the prompts until setup is complete.
You should see a confirmation that the connection was successfully created.
Step 4: Create Taskbar Shortcuts
- Click View Resources.
- You’ll see:
- Explorer Folder
- Printer's Plan (PP)
- Drag each item to your taskbar to create shortcuts.
This allows you to:
- Launch Printer's Plan directly
- Open the cloud file environment without signing in each time
Using Printer's Plan After Setup
Once connected (via either method):
- Printer's Plan functions the same
- All orders, data, and workflows are available
- You can switch between Web Client and RemoteApp at any time
Accessing the Cloud File Environment
The Explorer Folder shortcut opens your Printer's Plan cloud folder, which includes:
- Email Templates
- Plan Data Files
- Logo Files
- Logo Email (BMP)
- Logo Print (BMP)
These files can be edited and maintained directly from this folder.
Troubleshooting & Tips
- If login issues occur in RemoteApp, removing and recreating the connection might resolve them.
- First-time RemoteApp connections may take slightly longer.
- Always use the backslash (
\) in your username. - Password issues? Email support@printreach.com for immediate assistance.
