Time Zone Added to Merchant Settings
We are now collecting the Time Zone on the Merchant Settings page. This time zone will be used as the default when viewing reports in Print Reach Central. While this time zone will be used as the default, you will have the option in the various reports to override the time added here.
Permission to View Reports in Print Reach Central
With this release, we've added Transaction Reports so you can do more in PRC without having to go to MerchantTrack. In order to view the new reports, you and your staff need to have permission. To do this, go to Security Roles > Select a Role that you would like to have permission to view reports, and then select the "Permissions" tab. You will see a new option for "Reports," move the slider to "On" and users with that Role will now be able to view reports.
Transaction Reports, Refunds, and Receipts Added
Users with permission (see previous item above) can now view the Transactions Report, Transaction Detail Report, perform Refunds, and print or email a Transaction Receipt. You will find these new options by selecting the "Admin" menu item from the main Admin Menu bar.
And then by selecting Reports > Transactions.
Transactions Report
The Transactions Report shows all transaction (successful and failed) that occurred during the specified date range. By default we show a month of data. You will see in the Report Parameters area what data is being displayed. To change your view, make a selection(s) and click on the "Submit" button. To return to the defaults, select the "Refresh" icon.
Transaction Detail Report
The Transaction Detail report provides further information about a specific Transaction. From this report you can Print or Email a Receipt, or Cancel/Refund/Void a Transaction.
To view the Transaction Detail report, select the Transaction ID in the Transaction ID column of the Transactions Report (as seen below).
Print and/or Email a Transaction Receipt
From the Transaction Detail report, for valid transaction types you can print or email a receipt.
Void, Cancel or Refund a Transaction
From the Transaction Detail report, for valid transaction types you can void, cancel or refund a transaction.
When Voiding or Refunding a transaction, the sum of the Subtotal Amount to Refund and Tax Amount to Refund fields must equal the Amount to Refund field.
