Running an Inventory Item Report Follow
If you or your customers would like to see a list of all the items in a storefront that track inventory, along with details about those items, the Inventory Item Report will give you this detail.
The following information will be displayed in the Report:
- Item Name
- Customer ID#
- Sell Price
- Quantity on Hand
- Reorder Point
When viewing the report you can:
- Filter to see only items in stock or items that need reordering (because they are at a zero level, or they have reached their re-order point).
- When you are viewing the report, you can either print or export to CSV.
- To see the quantity that was on hand on a specific date, you can indicate that in the Snapshot Date field. No other fields are affected by the date chosen.
How to Create the Report
- First, enable the DM list you would like to have included in the report. Go to DocMart > Lists > Select the List. Check the "Report Enabled" box. Do this for all Lists that you have Items that you want included in the report.
- Select which Groups can run the report by going to Users & Groups > Select a Group > Select the Reports tab. In the list of reports, you will see the DocMart Lists you have in the store. They will appear like this: “Inventory Report: {DM List Name}.” Assign each of the Lists you want this Group to see.
- Next, you will run the Report. You can do this either from the Order History > Reporting drop down, or from the Navigation Menu if you are using the Mega Menu and you've added Reports to the Navigation bar. From the Order History, Select "Reports" from the "Reporting" drop-down menu seen at the top/right side of the page. From that page, you will select "Inventory Items" from the Report type drop-down menu.
- All the items that are tracking inventory in DocMart will be displayed. You can choose to view only one of your lists or all of the lists that were enabled. Again, filter options will also allow you to view only items that have inventory in stock, or view only items that have a zero quantity on hand, or have reached their re-order point.
