Using Price Tables within Services Follow
Overview
If you want to use a more sophisticated “market-pricing” option for pricing a Service, use the Price Table instead of the Run Table. The Price Table, with its multiple user-definable columns and rows and its additional calculation methods, offers greater flexibility in the pricing process.

- Price Table Properties: Defines how the table is used to calculate the service price.
- Price Table Itself: Each box is a "Cell". A price in a cell is the "Cell Price".
How Printer's Plan calculates price using properties:
- Property 1: Defines the Columns.
- Property 2: Defines the Rows.
- Property 3: Interprets Cell Price as Per Each, Per Thousand, or Total Price.
- Property 4: Determines how to calculate between quantity breaks.
- Property 5: Determines how the Total Price is calculated from Cell Price.
You cannot copy a Price Table alone between Services. Copy the entire Service to retain its Price Table.

Setup Price for a Service using a Price Table
If a service using a Price Table requires a Setup Price, follow these steps:
- Change the selection in the Price field from “Price Table” to “Use Price Column of Setup and Run Tables”.
- Select “Lot (1)” in the Per column of the Setup Table and enter the setup price.
- Change the Price field selection back to “Price Table”.
This disables the Setup Price column but retains its value when calculating total Service cost.
