Setting up Color Palettes for EzMerge Follow
Color Palettes allow you to set up a predetermined list of colors to use when changing the color of a font. This is useful to follow branding standards or to limit customization options.
To create a new Global Color Palette you can find the options in the EzMerge Templates section under the "Global Color Palettes" tab.
Below is an example of a Color Palette that has two color options.
Adding a new option allows you to create a color available for selection when using that Palette.
- Name: Customizable Name for the color
- Value: Determines which color gets assigned to the font. Examples of Valid formatting can be found below
- cmyk(1, 0, 0.04, 0.37)
- cmyk(100%, 0%, 4%, 37%)
- rgb(0, 161, 155)
- PANTONE 321 U
- Alt Web: To be used for alternate colors when using a PANTONE color.
To find where Color Palettes can be enabled for a template you need to enable "User Controls" for a text foeld and you will see the Color Palette available in that new menu.
Below you will see the end result of offering that color palette to the end user for that field. Currently, the font control is specific to each field.
