ezMerge Templates Pre-defined Field Values Follow
Overview
Allows the use of a static list of options in the field filling area of the Order Form.
How It Works
The ezMerge Field Type is edited to a pull down menu, and specific values are determined for the field.
Key Points
Restrict to allowable entry: Setting pre-approved or pre-determined values ensures proper entry.
End-user convenience: Speeds entry time and eliminates spelling errors.
1. In this example, the Title field is a standard Fill Field

2. Click the edit pencil to proceed to the ezMerge Template

3. Click "Fields & Blocks" tab

4. Within the Fields & Blocks, open the "Title" Textline area, and click the "Field Type" drop down menu.

5. Select the "Pull-Down" option

6. Click inside the "Field Value" type entry area, for this example we are entering Pre-approved or Preset Titles. Once entries are completed, include a return at the end, and click Save.

7. Return to the Order Form by clicking "Template"

8. Then click "Order Form Usage" and finally click "[View]"

9. The "Title" field in the Order Form is now a pull down menu. Click to open this menu, and the pre-approved options are now available.
