PDFLib Block Plugin Installation Mac and Windows Follow
The PDFLib Block tool is an Adobe Acrobat tool that allows the user to create variable fields that are used in EZMerge Templates. In this article, we have both video and written documentation on how to install this tool.
How to Install on Windows
- Login as a Site Administrator (or Owner) to your MyOrderDesk site.
- Navigate to the side menu and click on ezMerge Templates.
- At the bottom of this page, there will be a link to download the plugin. (Image One)
- For Windows, click on the Windows option.
- Once the plugin is downloaded, click on it to run the installer.
- Install the plugin.
- Once the installation is complete, open Adobe Acrobat and verify the PDFLib Block tool is at the top (Image Two)

How to Install on Mac*
- Login as a Site Administrator (or Owner) to your MyOrderDesk site.
- Navigate to the side menu and click on ezMerge Templates.
- At the bottom of this page, there will be a link to download the plugin. (Image Three)
- For Mac, depending on which version of Adobe you have, you will need to choose the correct link.
- Once that is installed a window will open showing the folder labeled 'PDFLib Block Plugin'.
- Next, navigate to the menu choice that says 'Go' at the top left of the screen.
- Press the keys ALT+Options at the same time, and click on the option that appears, 'Library'.
- Click on Application Support > Adobe > Acrobat > DC > Plug-ins.
- Go back to the PDFLib Block Plugin folder, drag the Block.acroplugin folder to the Plug-ins folder.
- Next, open Adobe Acrobat to verify the plug-in is there.

*Note about Apple products using the Apple M1 Processor:
Acrobat can run PDFlib Block Plugin (version 5.x - our version) but you have to turn off native mode for Acrobat on M1 Macs.
