Printer's Plan API (Web2Plan) Update Guide Follow

This guide outlines how to update the Printer's Plan API. The instructions in this guide depend on the version of Printer's Plan that you are currently running:

API Upgrade Instructions for Printer's Plan version 2023 or later.

API Upgrade Instructions for Printer's Plan version 2022 or earlier.

API Upgrade Instructions for Printer's Plan version 2023 or later.

Follow the steps in this section if you are using Printer's Plan version 2023 or later.

1. Stop IIS

  • In the Search Windows field, type IIS and select the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

  • The Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager loads.

  • In the IIS Manager window, select the Computer and under the Actions section click Stop.  

2. Backup the PlanWeb Directory

  • Browse to the InetPub/wwwroot/ directory.  

  • Copy the entire PlanWeb folder and save it to the desktop (or to a USB drive).

3. Delete the existing PlanWeb files

In the InetPub/wwwroot/PlanWeb directory delete all the files and folders Except for the following:

4. Download and Install the Update

5. Restart IIS

  • In the IIS Manager window, select the Computer and under the Actions, section click Start.  

Note: Make sure the traffic from your public IP address has been directed to the local IP address of this computer. This step is important and nothing with work without it. If you have a firewall, please allow access to the following IP addresses: 34.202.175.48, 52.204.238.248, and 18.204.91.231.

6. Verification

Email support@printreach.com or contact us at 888-581-3100 once the files are installed so we can verify that the upgrade was successful. If you have any questions regarding the update process please contact us at 888-581-3100

Print Reach Pay Users: As of version 2022.2.16 there is a new link for your Print Reach Central Webhook URL.
OLD: http://example.domain.com/PlanWeb/PrintReachPayListener.aspx
NEW: http://example.domain.com/PlanWeb/api/PrintReachPay.ashx

1. Stop IIS

4. Download and Install the Update

  • Download the following zipped file to your desktop (Latest Version 6/24/2024):

https://printreach.com/printersplan/WebSolutions/WebSolutions-Update.zip

  • Unzip and copy the contents of this file (WebSolutions-Update.zip) to the InetPub/wwwroot/PlanWeb directory.

5. Restart IIS

  • In the IIS Manager window, select the Computer and under the Actions, section click Start.
