Configure Reports to Display All Pages Follow
Midnight reports are designed to display one page at a time, requiring users to use the report navigation controls to move between pages. While this works well for most reports, some commonly used reports, such as estimates, invoices, work orders, or other customer-facing documents, may be easier to review when all pages are displayed at once.
Midnight includes a setting that allows specific reports to automatically open in Multiple Pages View, displaying all pages in a single scrollable window without using page navigation controls. This eliminates the need to navigate page-by-page and allows users to quickly review the entire report using their mouse or scroll wheel.
Important: Enabling Display All Pages causes Midnight to render every page of the report when it is opened. While this can improve usability for shorter reports, reports containing a large number of pages may take significantly longer to generate and, in some cases, may time out before finishing. For this reason, it is recommended that this setting only be enabled on reports that typically contain a small number of pages and are reviewed frequently. It is not recommended for reports that can return large amounts of data, including inventory reports, accounting reports, job cost reports, or other reports that may span dozens or hundreds of pages.
Locate the report you wish to modify from the report list and click the Edit button on the far right side of the record. Select the Show All Pages checkbox, then click the Update button to save your changes.
