This webinar provides an overview of the Midnight Inventory Web Application, a browser-based tool that simplifies inventory management and provides real-time visibility into inventory quantities and locations. From a centralized dashboard, users can create inventory records, add and put away materials, pull inventory for production, move stock between locations, and quickly locate inventory when needed.
The Inventory Web Application was developed to provide the same scanning capabilities available in Shop Floor through a modern web interface that can be accessed from nearly any device. Users access the application through a dedicated inventory URL rather than the traditional Midnight interface. For example, if your Midnight login URL is directprinting.vsmidnight.com, your Inventory URL would be inventory.vsmidnight.com/directprinting. The legacy Inventory mobile app has been deprecated and is no longer actively supported.
This webinar demonstrates the five primary functions available within the application: Create Inventory, Add/Put Away, Subtract/Pull, Move Inventory, and Find Inventory. You'll learn how to create inventory items, receive and store materials, record inventory usage, transfer inventory between locations, and search inventory by customer, item, code, or location.

A: No. Skid flags and inventory reports are not currently available from the dashboard. However, adding reporting capabilities is being considered for a future version of the application.

Skid flags and inventory reports are still generated from Midnight rather than from the web application at this time.
