A Clear View of Order Payment Details

Now, when viewing an order on the Order Screen's Payments tab, only the relevant payment details for that specific order are displayed. This improvement, prompted by valuable customer feedback, aims to reduce confusion both on the Order > Payments tab and within the customer payment record when a payment record is made for multiple orders. You will also notice that this tab has been renamed "A/R Payments" to better fit the detail displayed in this area. 

Below you will see that two orders are being paid on this Payment Record. 

Notice in this screenshot that only the details for this specific order are showing on the A/R Payment tab. If you select the Payment # you will see the details for both orders. 

Introducing the "Earmarked Deposits" Tab

We are excited to introduce a significant enhancement to our software with the addition of the "Earmarked Deposits" tab. This new tab is a dedicated area inside the order for displaying postage deposits and applied postage funds separate from payment transactions where it was previously displayed.

Below you will see both a Postage Check Deposit and then an Earmarked Funds Transfer representing when the funds were applied to the postage and moved out of the deposit account. 

In this screenshot of the A/R Payments tab, you will see that same Funds Transfer as it became a payment made to the order from the Earmarked Funds.  

Workflow Updates for Enhanced User Experience

Our latest software update introduces three key features designed to elevate your experience in Midnight. Discover how each feature contributes to a more seamless and intuitive workflow below.

• Postage Adjustment Page - Now, upon leaving a customer record, users are automatically returned to the grid with their previously selected customer, streamlining the process of reviewing multiple records for the same customer without the need to reselect.
• Order List Page - Closed orders can now be viewed directly from the Order Page, eliminating the need to navigate to Advanced Search. A new quick-access option at the top of the grid simplifies the process, providing a more efficient experience.
• Inventory Item Request Window - A "Show inactive items" option has been added to the popup window found in the Extended Search area. This new filter optimizes the performance of the window results and refines the display results.
