Midnight 11.02.0 (2/14/26) Release Notes Follow
The Details
Release Timing
This release will roll out in two phases: Phase 1 on February 14, 2026, and Phase 2 on February 21, 2026. Sandbox sites will also be updated during Phase 1, even if their associated customer is not part of that phase. All customers — including those in Phase 1 — will receive the Phase 2 update, which includes everything from Phase 1 plus any additional improvements made during the following week.
What to Expect in this Release
As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the reliability of your Midnight system, this release delivered improvements in system performance and several bug fixes. We are also including several enhancements—highlighted below.
Global Standard Service Pricing Updates
Postage Adjustments – Navigation Enhancements for Faster Research
We’ve improved navigation within the Postage Adjustments screen to make it easier to move between payment records, applied funds, and transaction details. These updates help reduce the time spent searching for related information when reviewing postage discrepancies or researching account activity, and they address long‑standing usability challenges in this area.
What’s improved:
- Direct navigation to Payment Transactions – The Customer Payment Number is now a clickable link, allowing you to open the related Payment Transaction screen instantly.
- Quick access to adjustment details – Transaction Numbers in the Applied Funds grid now open the Adjustments screen filtered directly to that specific transaction.
- Clearer terminology – All references to “Check” have been updated to “Transaction” for consistency and clarity.
- Updated labeling – “Funds Apply On” has been renamed to “Applied Funds” to better match its purpose.
These enhancements provide faster navigation, reduce the risk of errors, and make it easier to understand how funds were applied without the need for manual searching.
Return to Embedded Invoicing (iframe) Instead of Popup Windows
We’ve updated how Midnight opens Print Reach Central (PRC) Invoicing by returning to an embedded iframe instead of using two popup windows. This simplifies navigation, eliminates window confusion, and creates a smoother, more familiar workflow.
What’s improved:
- Single embedded view: Invoicing now opens inside Midnight, replacing the dual‑popup experience.
- Better session recovery: If your PRC session times out, logging back in will correctly return you to Midnight.
- More stable connection: Updated authentication ensures a consistent and secure sign‑on experience.
Order Search Page: Use Local Time Zone for Order Date Display
We’ve improved the Order Search page to ensure that all Order Dates now reflect your local time zone. Previously, dates were shown in UTC, which could cause orders created later in the day to appear as if they were placed on the following day. With this update, Order Dates will display accurately based on your location, making it easier to review activity and maintain consistency across your reports.
Enhanced “From Email” Support Across Midnight
- Payment Receipts: Midnight now sends payment Transaction Receipts using the “From Email” address on the employee record whenever it is available, ensuring clearer and more consistent communication. If the field is not populated, the system will fall back to the employee’s login email.
- Issue Notifications: Issue‑related emails now also use the “From Email” field by default, only reverting to the work email—or the global company email if needed—when that field is empty. This brings Issue notifications in line with the updated email‑sending behavior across the platform.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where pricing was not consistently calculated when services were added through the API, ensuring extended prices reliably reflect Quantity × Unit Price.
- Fixed an issue where attachments did not transfer between Estimates and Orders for customers using the new Print Reach Drive (DAM) feature, ensuring all attached files now carry over correctly during export.
- Fixed an issue where the ascending/descending sort filters in the Proofs and Estimate modules were not working correctly, ensuring lists now sort as expected.
- Fixed an issue where multi‑quantity estimates did not save updates correctly, preventing quantities or pricing from reverting when editing copied estimates.
- Fixed an issue where unit prices did not update correctly when adding new additional services inside a print product template, ensuring pricing now saves accurately and behaves as expected.
- Fixed an issue where UDF values in the Digital Job Board (DJB) Order View were not saving correctly across sites, ensuring all entered data now saves and remains intact when navigating between views.
- Fixed an issue where users could not set an Expected Inventory Quantity to 0 in the Order module, ensuring quantities can now be adjusted to zero when needed.
- Fixed an issue where orders created using Quick Add Customer did not inherit the customer’s default tax settings, ensuring new orders now correctly apply taxable status and county information.
- Fixed an issue where inactive UDFs were still appearing in the Digital Job Board (DJB), ensuring only active UDFs display consistently across both the Task View and Order View.
- Fixed an issue where the email “To” and “From” dropdowns disappeared when emailing reports from the Item Request preview, ensuring the email fields now display correctly every time.
