What to Expect in this Release
This release adds native Canadian currency and locale support, enhances payment confirmation emails, extends Feet unit of measure support to the API, and includes several bug fixes and security improvements.
New: Native Canadian Currency & Locale Support
Midnight now supports Canadian currency and locale natively within the existing International Format framework. Payment-related screens and communications reflect Canadian formatting where applicable, so Canadian merchant's customers see consistent currency and date presentation throughout the system.
Update: Payment Confirmation Enhancements
Midnight's payment confirmation email and associated invoicing screens have been updated to support Canadian merchants:
- Display currency on payment amounts.
- Include the RPAA processor disclosure.
- Use correct en-CA date and time formatting.
- Meet the receipt requirements for Canadian payment processors.
Update: Feet (ft.) Support on the API
The Feet unit of measure for roll materials is now supported in the Midnight API web methods, in addition to the in-app support introduced in 11.8.0. Integrations that work with roll inventory in feet can now do so through the API without manual conversion.
Improvements: Security & Platform
- A baseUrl is now added to the Midnight DOM to support DAM Proof redirection routes.
New: Reports
We've published new stock reports for Midnight:
- Drive: Billable Storage Report (billable vs. non-billable bytes per merchant)
- Inventory: Billing Detail Report
- Inventory: On-Hand by Customer Report
- Order: Insertion Sequence Report
- Pull Ticket Reports

- Fixed an issue where copying a Wide Format service did not update the Inventory tab with all inventory items.
- Fixed an issue where legacy inventory items were not converted correctly between inches and feet within estimates and orders.
- Fixed an issue where ShipStation API POST requests returned 500 errors under high volume when using the legacy Midnight API.
- Fixed an encoding issue in the MidnightSQL stored procedure.
