Midnight v9.6.0 (6/22/2024) Release Notes Follow
Did You Miss Update 2 of our All New and Updated Reports?
On 6/7/2024 we sent out our second release of new and updated reports. The release included three groups: Inventory Reports, Warehouse Item Request Reports, and Warehouse Reports. We also released an updated Employee List report that was first introduced in our first update. Follow this link for the full details.
Editing of Postage Affix, and Date columns when Postage is included in the Print Template
In our v9.4.0 release, we added the ability for postage to be included in a Midnight print template. Because you can have multiple postage lines in an order, we recognized that it would be helpful to allow the Postage Affix and Date columns to be edited once they are added to the order via a print template. You will find in this release that you can now edit these columns.
Validation added for Deactivated Terms
If the "Terms" option selected in the Customer CRM record or on an estimate or order is no longer active, we will highlight the field. This will allow you to select a new term on an open estimate or order, while maintaining the term that was selected on past estimates and orders.
Midnight Receipts Now Support Multiple Transactions
Even though a customer payment record can have multiple transactions, when you used the download receipt, or resend receipt options, it only sent the first transaction receipt. With this update, you will receive a multi-page download with each receipt on a separate page for each credit card or ACH transaction that made.
Check, ACH, and CC last 4 Digits Reflected in the Ref # Column of the Customer Payment Record and A/R Payments Tab
The last 4 digits of a check, ACH or credit card payment will be reflected in the "Ref #" column of the Customer Payment Record and the A/R Payment tab in the order, as seen in the screenshots below.
Improvement to Inventory Adjustment Fields
It was discovered that the Order Pulled, Overages, and Reserved Fields were not updating correctly when inventory adjustments were made. Corrections have been made to the following:
- The Order Pulled and Overages fields are updating correctly on the Orders > Inventory Tab when performing an “Add Inventory“ operation from the Warehouse > Inventory module.
- Also the calculation of the “Reserved“, “Quantity Pulled“ and “Overage“fields reflects the correct value in the Warehouse > Inventory > Orders Tab.
