Accessing Data In Cloud-Hosted Printer's Plan Follow
Printer's Plan is run on a virtual Microsoft Windows server environment. When logging in using the credentials provided by Print Reach Software, you will first be presented with a resource screen that contains two resources.
- Explorer: A file directory browser with a shortcut to your installation of Printer's Plan including the primary database and installation files.
- Printer's Plan: The software Printer's Plan being run through a web browser via a virtual Microsoft Windows environment.
Managing Files
1. Log into printersplan.printreach.com using your Cloud-Hosted Printer's Plan credentials.
2. Click the resource labeled 'Explorer' on the resource landing page
3. Allow access to your clipboard in the pop-up window that appears
4. Click on the drive shortcut for your company that will be found under the 'Quick Access' panel in the left-hand section of the Explorer window.
Note that this is a demonstration drive and yours will have a different naming convention.
5. The directory that contains the 'Plandata.mdb' file is your core Printer's Plan installation directory. You may find folders for Email, Documents, Artwork, Images where the files are used for your Printer's Plan program to run properly. Many files in this directory rely on naming conventions to be recognized by the program.
Editing Files
Email Templates:
- Locate the HTML based email template you wish to edit.
- Right-click the template and use the menu to find the options 'Open With' Then 'Choose another app'.
- In the second menu that appears you will see an option for 'Show more options'.
- Once clicked, choose 'Notepad'. Select the checkbox to remember this decision.
Now you may edit your email templates per our knowledge base instructions regarding updating HTML email templates.
Uploading Files

1. Use the 'Upload Files' button at the top of the user controls panel in Cloud-Hosted Printer's Plan's resource window.
2. The web browser window will ask you to locate the file via a file selector window.
3. You will be notified once the file is done uploading.
4. Click on the 'Quick Access' Panel and use 'This PC' to find "\\tsclient\Remote Desktop Virtual Drive\Uploads"
Drag-and-drop the file into your company drive in the 'Quick Access' Panel.
Downloading files
- PDFs will automatically be saved locally when choosing 'Print Now'. These files should save on your local machine by default.
Download The RDP File for greater access.
1. Click the gear icon in the top right-hand side of the Cloud-Hosted Printer's Plan resource window.
2. Enable the option 'Download RDP file'.
3. Close the menu and double-click Printer's Plan do have a configuration or RDP file download automatically.
4. Double-click the RDP file and Printer's Plan will run through the RemoteApp resources on your Microsoft Windows machine.
5. Log in with a Plan\ just before your username credentials. So if my login username was "PlanUser", I would enter "Plan\PlanUser". Save credentials.
6. The video below demonstrates that saving files while using Printer's Plan allows for saving files locally.
