New and Updated Midnight Reports - Update 5: November 21, 2024 Follow

In our last four releases, we introduced new and updated reports for Midnight. We're continuing this initiative with the fifth release, which includes:

• 2 new CRM Reports
• 2 Inventory Reports (1 updated)
• 4 new Order Reports
• 11 Production Reports (2 new)
• 8 Purchasing Reports (2 new)
• 4 updated Status/Pricing Reports

New Reports:

• CRM: Completed Activities Report – Lists completed CRM activities by user.
• CRM: Pending Activities Report – Lists pending CRM activities by user.
• Machine: Active Orders by Employee Report – Displays active orders along with employee, start and stop counts, start and end times, and shop floor comments.
• Work Order: Change Order #1 – Displays change orders by Service Type; header matches Work Order: Print #1.
• Work Order: Change Order #2 – Displays change orders by Service Type; header matches Work Order: Print #2.
• Work Order: Change Order #3 – Displays change orders by Service Type; header matches Work Order: Print #3.
• Work Order: Scan Sheet – SF Barcodes Only – Only shows barcodes marked as “Show On Shop Floor.”
• Production Schedule by CSR Report – Production schedule grouped by CSR, with details on version status, postage status, post office, and urgency.
• Production: WOPO Report – Lists all orders awaiting postage (Postage Status = On Order).
• Purchase Order #2 – Matches new design #2.
• Purchase Orders: Open by Order Report – Lists open purchase orders by Order #.

Updated Reports:

• Inventory: Available & Reserved by Customer Report – Now includes Overages.
• Orders: Open and Closed by Date Range Report – Added search by Due Date.
• Orders: Open by CSR Report – Added search by Due Date.
• Orders: Open by Date Range Report – Added search by Due Date.
• Orders: Open by Rep Report – Added search by Due Date.

We highly suggest reviewing and deactivating any unused or unwanted reports to keep the list organized and to save server space.

The deprecation schedule of the legacy reports will be announced on December 20, 2024. Any inactive Custom Reports (not used in the last year) will be deactivated on March 31, 2025.

Here is some helpful information to help you navigate the changes.

There are 3 new icons added to the original stock icon you are already familiar with. This is what they represent: 

• S Icon: (Stock): Standard Midnight Reports re-designed and updated.
• C Icon: (Custom): Implementation/Professional Services Custom Reports. 
• M Icon: (Modified): User Modified Reports.

The various report types will be supported in the following manner:

• The existing stock reports will retain the legacy icon and will not be supported (updated) once the new reports are added to their category. 
• Stock and Pro Services Custom Reports can no longer be edited by anyone but Print Reach staff. You may make a copy of these reports and edit your copy, these will then display the "M" icon (User Modified).
