6.5 Release Notes (09/2019)

 

Order Enhancements

MyOrderDesk

We have improved our integration with MyOrderDesk which is a B2B storefront that allows customers to place orders online.  Those orders can then get pushed into Midnight.  Those orders that are imported from My Order Desk will have a My Order Desk logo next to the Midnight order number.

Inventory Enhancements

Unit Value Refresh Button When this button is pressed the field should populate with a value using one of the 2 conditions below. This button should only display if an item has a material type of sheet or roll.  If the amounts change, simply click the refresh button to update the Unit Value.

Sheet – The Unit Value will calculate the Cost Per MSheets/1000

Roll – The Unit Value will calculate using 1 of 3 different methods.  My example below is using the 1st method.

  1. 1. (Roll weight/100) * Cost Per Cwt
  2. 2. Cost Per Roll if greater than 0.00
  3. 3. (Parent Roll Length/12) * Cost Per Foot

Job Costing

Employee Detail Section A new section has been added to the job cost edit form.  When multiple employees are jobbed into the same task and same machine, you can view all their times when editing the job cost record.

You can also manually add an employee and record their Start and End time.  This will create a new job costing record for the employee.

 

Operation Codes Employees can now select an Operation Code when jobbing into a task through the Shopfloor App.  You can define the Operation Codes listed by access the Admin Menu  Operation Codes.

Edit the an existing job costing record will give you the option to select or change the Operation Code for that entry.

Proofs Enhancements

File Types We have now included .mov and .txt as a supported file type when sending proofs.

Proof Request Email We have added Bcc: and Cc: fields to the Proof Request Email form.

Required Proof Approvers We have removed the required approvers check boxes from the form.

 

DJB Enhancements

Actual Quantity This is a new column on the DJB.  This value is populated from the total count that is entered against a task either through the Shopfloor App or through the Job Costing module.

FIXES:

-PO Export to Accounting not filtering previously exported PO’s by Export Date.

-DJB Version Status View now displays the correct expected quantity for each version.

-When performing inventory transactions, we optimized the loading of the locations and order number dropdowns.

-After a user clicks the Submit button, we lock the screen so the submit button cannot be clicked multiple times causing duplicate records.

-Simple wide format calculator bug fixes

-Print calculator additional services bug fixed

-Version Status View now shows each versions expected quantity

-Standard services name increased size to 150 characters
