Midnight v2.5 (07/2013) Release Notes Follow

Midnight  -Version 2.5

New Functionality:

  • • Dynamic Job  Board: Added columns for Expected Time and Logged Time (total time logged against the service item).  Users can now enter your time spent on activities right from the DJB.
  • • Midnight Storefront / Pressero Integration: Multiple new fields have been added to the integration with Pressero.
  • • CRM: Search and report on user defined fields in the CRM customer module.  Currently there are up to 10 user defined fields that can be defined in the Admin area for the CRM module.
    • o The following items were added to make this functionality more useful:
    • o CRM search screen – In the advanced search area, one can select any of the user defined fields to perform a search
    • o New CRM Customer Report was added to the Reports module
    • • Accounting Interface: MYOB Accounting has been added to the list of accounting programs supported by Midnight
    • • Administration: International Date and Phone is now supported and replicated throughout the application. The Admin menu has a new item labeled International Format where one can specify all dates and time be formatted in international format. This is reflected throughout the user interface and all reports

Performance Improvement:

    • • Offset & Digital Print Estimating Module
    • • Job Costing
    • o Enter Service Time
    • o Enter Production Time
    • • Estimate: Multi Quantity tab

New or Improved Reports:

    • • Customer List Export – ability to Export your current CRM Customer list to excel
    • • Sales Report with Tax and Postage – new sales report by date range that displays total sales with tax and postage for each job
    • • Invoice Basic – Similar to Invoice report but hides line item wizard info
    • • Work Order Dep – added Estimated Time column showing expected time to complete each task
    • • Work Order Versions – added Estimated Time column showing expected time to complete each task

Bug fixes:

    • • Multiple Quantity Tab on Estimates Page: fixed problem with multi item changes not saving, corrected calculation issue
    • • Dashboard and Widgets – changed max rows on list widgets to display first 100 rows – corrects a session loading error
    • • Quickbooks export – addressed issue that could cause duplicate invoices to be exported
    • • Open Estimates report – fixed issue where report was not pulling all rows

Volume Discounts report – corrected issue with sortation of items inside of a specific service code
