Midnight 10.2.0 (2/22/2025) Release Notes Follow
We are excited to announce the latest updates and enhancements to Midnight. This release includes improvements across multiple areas, ensuring a more seamless experience for our users. Below are the key updates included in this release:
Accounting Export for QuickBooks
-
Movement of Earmarked Funds to Escrow will no longer be included in the export.
-
Program Fees will now be classified as an Invoice instead of a Cash Sale on the export.
-
The IIF file now includes both Payment and Invoice details for Program Fees.
Print Calculator Update
- The behavior of the Print Calculator calculated costs even when the quantity (qty) was set to zero. This caused confusion for users in scenarios where they need to utilize the calculator without charging for any costs or markup.
- The updated requirement mandates that when the quantity is zero, the Total Price should also be zero, and no associated costs should be included in the calculation.
Payment Updates
Additional Detail for "Other" Payment Type
-
A new Description field has been added to the "Other" Payment Method Type.
-
This description appends to the Type Name to provide additional clarity wherever the "Other" payment type is displayed.

-
Improved behavior of the Save, Save and Close, and Note buttons after a refund is made and when creating a Credit Payment (CP).
-
Adjustments made to prevent unnecessary error prompts under specific conditions.
