Decoding Statuses Postage Status
Within each version of an order, you have the ability to mark the status of postage for that version. The postage status field is an easy way to communicate to all teams whether the postage for a job has been received and whether the job is okay for release as a result. In Admin, you can set up different postage statuses to denote key points of whether the monies have been requested, if they have arrived or if the order is on a postage hold. The answers that your team provides when asked about postage or the information needed company-wide should be considered for options in this drop-down.
To set up or change the statuses used, click on Admin using the gear on the top-right hand corner of Midnight. Select Postage from the Admin Lists. Once that opens, click on Postage Status. The Postage Status screen will appear on the right. You may add or edit Statuses by either updating the line item or adding a new record using the line at the bottom.
For the user side, to change the status on a version, click on the Data Postage Tab within the job. Select the desired option from the drop drown and save the record.
The Postage Status will appear on production reports and on the Order view of the Dynamic Job Board to assist with planning, scheduling and releasing jobs.
