CRM: New Customer Email Notifications Follow
Set Up a Recipient for New Customer Email Notifications
When a new customer is added to Midnight, the system can automatically send an email notification to one or more designated recipients. This notification can be used to review and verify customer information, add any missing details, enter the customer into an accounting system, or complete other steps in your organization's customer onboarding process.
To configure the email recipient, click the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the screen to open Admin Settings. From the menu on the left, select Global Settings. Within the blue navigation tabs across the top of the page, scroll to the right and select the CRM tab.
From the CRM settings page, enter the email address of the person or people who should receive notifications when new customers are created. Once you have entered the email address(es), click the green Save action button and then click OK to confirm the change.
After the setting has been saved, Midnight will automatically send an email notification whenever a new customer record is added to the system.
Note: Multiple email addresses can be entered in this field. Separate each email address with a comma and do not include spaces between addresses.
Example: info@ppprinting.com,accounting@ppprinting.com
When a new customer is added to Midnight, the designated recipient(s) configured in Admin Settings will automatically receive an email notification. This email includes the customer's contact information, address details, and source information. It also highlights any missing information in the customer record, making it easy to identify incomplete data and follow up with the customer as needed.
These notifications help ensure customer records are reviewed, completed, and processed as part of your organization's onboarding workflow.
