Open the DJB as a Window in Chrome Follow
How to open the DJB as a window in Chrome
Chrome allows you to choose whether pages open as a webpage or as a window. When pages are opened as a window, the address bar and bookmarks are not visible, thus allowing the screen to better fill your monitor.
This is how the DJB appears when opened as a webpage.
This is how it appears when the page is opened as a window. (There is no address bar; if you have any bookmarks saved, those will not display either.)
If you’d like to make a page open as a window, while in Chrome, first navigate to the Dynamic Job Board (or other page you wish to display as a window when you open it). At the top-right hand corner of your screen (in Chrome, to the right of the address bar), you will see three vertical dots.
This is the Settings option in chrome. On the menu window that opens, click “More Tools” and then “Create Shortcut”.
On the pop up window, you can name your new shortcut. (In this example, we named it “DJB”.) Click the option to “Open as a Window”. This is required. Save your change.
The screen will re-open as a window.
When you use your new shortcut on your desktop to access the Midnight page, it will open as a window. Note: if you are not logged in, the system will still prompt you to log in before opening.
