Adding Multiple Permits on a Customer Follow
Creating a drop-down for the Permit field on orders for a customer
If you have an agency as a client that may use different mailing permits on different jobs, you are able to manage that list of permits on the customer record. Within the CRM record of each employee in Midnight, you can maintain a client’s permit, MID, CRID and other pertinent info for use on orders. Setting up the permits will create entries for a drop-down on the Data /Postage tab of each version of an order for that customer.
To add additional permits on a client, search for and select the customer record in CRM. Once the client record opens, click the Postage Details tab.
To add entries for the Permit drop-down, click the green plus to the right of the Permit field.
The Permit Number screen will pop up.
Enter the information for the first permit using the grey line at the bottom of the pop-up screen.
Click the blue save icon on the right of the line to save the data. Click the Close button once you have added each of the permits used by the client.
The permits will appear for selection on each version of an order on the Data/Postage tab. The selected permit prints on standard Midnight work order and other reports for use by your production team.
