Managing Permits, MIDs, CRIDs, and NPA Numbers Follow
If a customer uses multiple mailing permits, nonprofit authorizations or other postal identifiers, Midnight allows you to maintain multiple entries on the customer record. These records can then be selected from a drop-down list on the Data/Postage tab of an estimate or order version, making it easy to choose the appropriate mailing information for each job.
In the customer's CRM record, you can maintain information such as multiple:
- MIDs (Mailer ID)
- Permit Numbers
- Ghost #s
- Nonprofit Auth #s (NPA)
- CRIDs (Customer Registration ID)
To add additional mailing records:
- Search for and open the customer record in CRM.
- Select the Postage Details tab.
- Click the green plus (+) button next to the field.
- Enter the applicable mailing information, such as a Permit Number, MID, CRID, Ghost #, or Nonprofit Authorization Number (NPA), and click Save.
- Repeat as needed to add additional records.
EXAMPLE: Once the green plus (+) button is selected next to the Permit field, the Permit Number screen opens. Enter the applicable information and click Save. Repeat this process as needed to add additional permits for the customer.
You must Save & Close the customer record before the new information becomes available in the Permit drop-down on the Data/Postage tab of estimates and order versions for that customer.
The permits are available for selection on an estimate or order.
