Add a New Credit Card for Payment Processing Follow
Adding a credit card on file
In order to facilitate a faster processing of payments, Midnight allows you to save credit cards on file for your customers. The system is PCI compliant and your customer’s card information is securely stored outside of your Midnight database, but you can easily add a new card that can be used when processing payments for your customers.
To add a new Credit Card on File for use with the payments module, go to CRM and search for the customer you wish to add a new credit card for. Click the customer to select them. When the CRM module opens, click to the last tab within the CRM navigation to access the Wallet tab.
There is a green button for Add Payments. Click this button to open a screen where you may enter the credit card information from your customer.
A screen will pop up.
Enter the name on the credit card, type the full credit card number, expiration date and CVV number to complete the screen. (All fields on the screen are required.) Click the green Add button to add the new card to the system. (If the credit card number is not a valid number type, the system will return an error.)
After adding the new card, Midnight will return you to the CRM screen. The full credit card number does not display for security purposes. Click Save & Close on the customer record if you do not have any new cards to enter and are done updating the customer record.
