Adding a new Contact while in Estimates or Orders Follow
Create a new contact without leaving the Estimates or Orders screens
While adding a new estimate or order, you may discover that the person who is requesting the new project is not in the Contact drop-down.
In Midnight, you do not have to leave the screen in order to add that new contact to the system. In the top-right hand corner, there is a drop-down option for Quick Links.
If you wish to add a new contact for the customer on the record you are creating, click Add Contact. A screen will pop up.
Enter the contact’s information, including any fields required by your team.
Click Save & Close. You may now select that contact for use on the estimate/order record.
The new contact is also now available within the CRM on the Contacts tab and can be updated or used on estimates and orders at any time.
