Clear Chrome Cache Follow
Clearing your Chrome cache to refresh Midnight
Whether after a Midnight version update or if you are seeing strangeness in Midnight due to a screen seemingly that doesn't seem to refresh properly, we recommend performing a cache refresh within Chrome. This is performed at the workstation level and should be done on each computer after new updates are released or on workstations and devices where you are seeing issues. Clearing your cache will remove your cookies as well as temporary internet files and images downloaded from websites. (Outside of Midnight, clearing your cache can also fix page issues such as loading and formatting problems as it causes Chrome to pull a fresh page the next time you visit.)
To clear your cache while in Chrome, press the following keys on your keyboard:
- For Windows: Ctrl+Shift+Delete
- For Mac users: Shift+Command+Delete
Once the Clear browsing data menu opens, select the options for Cookies and other site data as well as "Cached images and files" and then click Clear data for Chrome to clear out the data.
