Control which services are available within the Shop Floor app
You may have services set up on orders that are needed for production instructions, but that you will not track time for in Shop Floor. Likewise, you might have line items detailed for invoicing purposes that will also not have time tracked against them. In either of these situations, you can control which services appear on Shop Floor for time tracking. (All open services on an order flagged as available for Shop Floor are displayed on the screen when the team chooses the job.) To stop a service from appearing on Shop Floor and thus making it easier for the team to locate the tasks they should track their time, go to Admin by clicking the gear in the top-right hand corner of Midnight. Within the Admin Lists, Scroll down to Standard Services. Click on Standard Services.
In the center of the screen, locate and select the service you wish to not display within Shop Floor. In the middle of the screen there is a checkbox for Shop Floor. If you uncheck this field, once you click Save & Close, the service will no longer appear within Shop Floor. (The team will not see the service as a selection when they perform the Job In function in the Shop Floor app.)
