Introduction to the Midnight UI Follow
Several controls are visible from each screen or form in Midnight that can be used to navigate between screens and modules in the program.
Home screen
In the home screen, you will see a home icon and a row of different sections of midnight, above a list of tabs that change depending on where you are in the site. This row of controls will remain at the top of your screen regardless of where you are in the program, but only the buttons above the blue bar will stay the same.
To the right of the tools tab, there is a line of icons. These icons are the Release Notes for your current Midnight version, Activity Notifications (bell), Dynamic Job Board (Calendar), Shop Floor View (TV), Reports Module, and the Admin Settings panel (gear). The subsections below are going in order from left to right.
Release Notes: This tab allows users to see the newest additions to Midnight, and also allows them to view previous release additions.
Print Reach Knowledge Bases :
CRM Activity Notifications : This tab displays alerts relevant to the signed in user.
Dynamic Job Board: This tab displays the Dynamic Job Board, in which different schedules are displayed with many different levels to sort by.
Shop Floor Display view: A scrolling list of jobs with the progression status, meant for display on large screens in the production area.
Reports: Most reports in the system are listed here in the Midnight Reports module.
Admin settings: This tab opens the Admin Settings list which allows you to make changes to your company and the way it operates with Midnight.
Search Screens
Clicking on any of the tabs will take you to the search screen for that module. For instance, when you click on the Estimates tab selector, your screen color will change and you will see the Estimate Search screen.
Quick Links
The Quick Links drop-down allows you to quickly navigate to places anywhere on the midnight site. This section lists common activities for the user logged into the system, and can be customized to include any Quick Link in the system.
Using the Quick Links section, you can click on any of the links to take you directly to that module and screen. In the example above, the user logged in can go directly to the Add Estimate and Report Viewing Screens.
