Recommended Specifications for Choosing Shop Floor TV

The real-time data on the Dynamic Job Board (DJB) can facilitate communication in your business and help your team members have greater awareness of production information, statuses and issues.  Many companies that use Midnight have televisions displaying the Dynamic Job Board on their print and production floors so that all team members can stay on top of jobs and their schedules.  Luckily, the minimum requirements to add television screens to your system aren’t prohibitive.

While your placement needs may vary, we recommend televisions in the 40”- 60” range.  If you are able to get a great deal on a larger screen, your users will benefit!  The televisions should be Smart TVs and have a USB input so that you may connect a Chrome Bit.  The Chrome Bit is what will allow you to connect to your database on the television.  In addition to the Chrome Bit, the television will need a wireless keyboard and mouse so that you may use that to control the screen.
