Stop emails from Midnight going to SPAM; Set up DKIM Follow
What to do if you find your emails from Midnight end up in SPAM
You are able to email reports (including estimates, invoices and inventory reports) directly from your software. If your prospects and clients tell you that emails you send to them from Midnight are going to their SPAM folder or are otherwise rejected, reach out to our support team about setting up DKIM (Domain Keys Identified Mai). Once the process is started, our development team will complete the first steps and then send you data for your IT team add to your email system. (It will require adding records to your DNS setup.) After those records are added, the Print Reach team will complete the process and afterwards, your emails should land properly in your recipient’s inboxes.
The process itself will take a couple of days on each side as there are processes that have to run for validation. Know that DKIM is set up for your email address domain so if you choose to send emails from Midnight from alternate addresses, the mail may still be flagged improperly.
DKIM is the standard protocol used on the internet to facilitate proper identification of emails sent from your email, but outside of your email domain, such as when you email reports from Midnight. Having this set up will help make sure your customers receive their quotes and invoices without any issues. If you discover your emails from Midnight are not making it to your client's inboxes, send us an email at support@printreach.com and we'll be happy to assist you with starting the DKIM process!
